Update: Members affected by Hurricane Katrina

  In October, we requested prayers for members affected by Hurricane Katrina. Below is an update on our prayer request for the missing brethren in the aftermath of Katrina from Carmen Fleming:

  The pastor of the church has heard from everyone except 4 families. We thank everyone for their prayers. We are happy to report that the church will have their services in New Orleans for the first time this weekend since August 27th.

  The church has been very busy helping in the recovery. They had 3 mission work parties and are planning others in November and December. They have just scratched the surface. Please pray for even greater progress in the recovery effort for the restoration of a normal life for the members and people as a whole of New Orleans.
